Hi! I am Miss Cheryl and have been in the Children’s Workshop family since 1998. I have a BA in Special Education from Hope College and hold additional teacher certificates from National Louis University. After working for several years as a teacher assistant in the Toddler classroom, the opportunity came up for me to become a lead teacher and I secured an Infant/Toddler certification. In addition to my lead teaching in the Toddler/Tween classroom, I love teaching music to all of the CW children.

 

I was born and raised in Michigan and have lived here most of my life. My husband Jim and I have three children and are thrilled to be grandparents! Happily, all of my family lives here in Grand Rapids.

In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading and listening to and playing music.
